Great real estate continuing education was taught by Vern Jarboe with the Required Kansas Core and an elective course on issues he hears as the attorney for the Kansas Association of Kansas’s legal hotline. Our Annual Kansas Auctioneer Championship Contest returns to its all-in-one-day format with the preliminary and final rounds held on stage at the Kansas State Fair on Wednesday, September 14th. The contest starts at the Hansen Auditorium at 10:30, where contestants will answer two interview questions. KAA COVID-19 Recommended Guidelines

The KAA Board of Directors had their annual retreat virtual meeting yesterday. They not only worked on how to best serve the membership this year, but discussed the current situation we all find ourselves in with COVID-19. This morning, members should have received an email with the association's COVID-19 recommendations. It will be mailed to any member who does not have an email on file. The 7th Annual KAA Golf Tournament will be Thursday, June 9, at the Emporia Golf Course - 1133 Highway 99, Emporia, KS 66801. The format will be a 4-Man Scramble with a shotgun start at 12:00. We held our 8th Annual Kansas Livestock Auctioneer Championship on October 29th at Russell Livestock, LLC in Russell, Kansas. Contestants have to not only be members of the Kansas Auctioneers Association, but also be sponsored by a Kansas livestock market.
